Bohemian Visions is a private luxury boudoir studio in Richmond, Virginia, designed to feel less like a photography studio and more like stepping into another world.
Rich wood, exposed brick, candlelight, antique furnishings, dramatic textures, and more than a dozen distinct environments create a setting that feels collected, intimate, and entirely its own.
From the moment you arrive, the outside world begins to fall away. Every detail has been considered so you can settle into the experience, be fully present, and let us take care of the rest.

At Bohemian Visions, discretion sits at the center of the experience. For many of our clients, privacy is not simply a preference. It is a requirement.
Your photographs are yours. Nothing is shared publicly, used in marketing, or shown anywhere without your written permission. You decide what remains private and what, if anything, is ever seen beyond the studio.
The freedom to be fully present begins with knowing you do not have to think about what happens afterward. Here, privacy and discretion are not something you have to request.
They are part of the standard.

Most women arrive expecting the photographs to be what they remember most. Often, it is the moment they finally see them.
At your same-day reveal, there is nothing left to prepare for, perform, or get right. You simply get to look. And somewhere between the first photograph and the last, the woman you have been evaluating, postponing, criticizing, or simply too busy to notice begins to look familiar again.
The photographs do not prove that you became more beautiful, more confident, or more worthy while you were here. They become evidence of something that was already true.
You were always there.
That is what you take with you.
Most women do not arrive here on impulse. They have imagined it, postponed it, saved the inspiration, closed the tab, and told themselves they would come back when the timing felt right.
When work became less demanding. When they felt more confident. When their body changed. When life finally gave them enough room to think about themselves.

Marie Malvoisin is the founder, photographer, and creative director of Bohemian Visions.
Her work is rooted in a simple belief: the most compelling portrait of a woman is not a performance of who she thinks she should be. It is a recognition of who she already is.
Bohemian Visions was created for women who spend much of their lives leading, achieving, caring, deciding, and showing up for everyone around them. Inside the studio, Marie creates something different. A space where nothing is required of you except your presence.
Every detail matters to her, from the environment and lighting to the smallest movement of a hand, the turn of a shoulder, and the expression that appears when you finally stop thinking about the camera.
The photographs are beautiful.
But the moment a woman looks at the screen and realizes,
